Treadmill workouts
In close cooperation with our Healthy Weight Clinic, the physiotherapy service worked out a specific exercise programme for obese dogs. After all, a healthy weight goes hand in hand with sufficient exercise.
10 treadmill sessions (price: €300 incl. VAT) include:
- keeping an exercise diary
- 1x/week weighing on calibrated scales
- 1st and last session: 6-minute walk test (fitness test)
- 2 sessions per week during weeks 1-3; 1 session per week thereafter
- 1 session takes about 30 minutes
- additional target to increase exercise at home by 30%
