Movement therapy is based on exercises that focus on proprioception, balance, muscle building, endurance and gait training. Movement therapy is an important part of rehabilitation after orthopedic or neurological surgery. Patients with chronic joint problems also benefit greatly from targeted exercise therapy.
Finally, exercise therapy can also be used preventively to strengthen certain muscle groups. This can help improve the performance of sports dogs, among other things.
Movement therapy is performed during physical therapy consultations and by owners at home. Our physiotherapists develop a tailor-made exercise program for each patient.
